7th Annual Big Bass Challenge - Results

June 9th, 2007

 
The 7th Annual Big Bass Challenge had 36 boats entered in the contest from four different states.  Anglers endured a wind blown day after an hours worth of calm water first thing in the morning.  Despite the weather, a few nice fish were brought in to the scales. Overall, the bite was tough and big fish eluded most anglers.

 

In the end, the big bass of the day was brought into the scales during the 9:00 hour by the team of Tillotson and Coulson. The big fish weighed 4.69 lbs., and barely edged out the second place fish by 0.14 lbs.  A total of 36 fish were weighed in at the scales, and weighed a total of 119.26 lbs, for an average of 3.31 lbs. per fish.  The hourly results are reported below.
