The CastingKids contest for 2006 was held on a blustery and drizzly day at the Hays City Sportsman's Club in conjunction with the Youth Outdoor Festival. Two winners from the 7-10 age group and two winners from the 11-14 age group will be eligible to represent the Hays Bass Anglers Association at the state CastingKids tournament. Nearly 100 kids took part in this years contest and some excellent scores were posted. The winners for 2006 were Jesse Carmichael, Brady Werth, Jesse Boomhower, and Vern Dreiling. Congratulations kids!
